Vicky Donor is a nice attempt to bring conservative thinking of Indians and somewhat less discussed topic in our society, in a light manner. Movie starts on a light note, carries itself the same for 2 hours and ends happily. Spare few emotional sequences of course.
Movie revolves around the topic of Sperm Donation, people suffering from infertility and its serious effects on their lives and a crazy doctor who is too much deep into this profession that even his fingers start running when he speaks word "Sperm". A wonderful pictorial representation of the it.
Anu Kapur acted fabulously as the crazy doctor, who sees the world as a sperm. He finds Ayushman as an extremely promising sperm for his business. Ayushman, despite of fearing about the society and their talks about his unusual job joins the Doctor. Though his first commercial movie, he played his role of a Desi, careless, fun loving and wanna be a big shot young man, with superb brilliance and surprising ease. His quirky replies keep a smile through out the movie. Everybody else too have played their part quite nicely. Must mentions are the catchy sequences of Vicky's ultra open grand mom and his mom, their tuning and their comments to prove other wrong. It is certainly the show stealer in the movie. Music is pleasant sometimes and Dialogs are also helpful in maintaining the pace of the movie.
For sure, a not to miss flick. Watch it for a new topic, with some new faces and pacy movie with mix of Punjabi tadka.

Starting from Wanted, Salman started a special genre of movies which stars a hero which is Crazy, Insane, carries a unique attitude and style of doing things, have a punch line always with him, moves his body in a fashion, no one ever did and creates an aura around him, which overshadows all the other characters in the movie. After Dabang and Ready which just manages to maintain this, Bodyguard takes the Wanted tradition to a new height, spare the ending of the movie. Salman as a Bodyguard named Lovely Singh has a bookish and sincere approach to his job with all the strange rules, which certainly brings smile on your lips. His "Ahsaan" dialog, his breathing biceps as a dance step and his ruthless beating black and blue to the Gundas surely makes his fans jumping on their seats.
The movie starts with a sensational entry followed by a blasting action sequence of Salman. From the very beginning movie creates its own aura that continues in spite of few longer romantic sequences until movie reaches to last 15 mins. After Salman finishes and breaks down all the possible danger to Karina it was all well taken by the audience, whistling, applauding and shouting in praise and madness.
Nobody would have even imagined about such a pathetic ending of a nicely directed movie by Mr. Siddique which seemed to be handed over to some other writer for its ending and director for last few scenes. The end of the movie can very well be the last fighting sequence and everybody in the theater would have gone back with dancing legs, a smile and a tickle about such a Strange but lovable stud hero. Movie completely lose its track in its last 15 mins. Why these twists and turns when movie is actually not intended to be made in such a way.
Not to forget, mentioning the marvelous action in the movie which undoubtedly is the best in bollywood in last decade. Music as well as background score is also a positive for the movie. Overall it was again a Sallu movie and quite and entertaining one.
Cut this ending and release it again with an alternate one.

Firstly I want to give a standing applaud for the brave and bold experiment in Boolywood by Mr. Director "Praval Raman". Mostly the fate of these movies are pre judged and decided in our country, same happened with 404 too. Not many movie enthusiast even know about this. What a pity! The movie is for every sincere movie lover, for all the Hollybood maniacs who claim Indian film industry having no sense, generates no meaningful movie.
The movie is based on the Psyche of human mind, its vulnerability to so called unexisting objects and ghosts. The movie is plotted in a medical college where freshers are being ragged and a boy named Abhimanyu, kinda stand against it. Also he insists his warden and teacher (Satish Kaushik) to allot him room no. 404 where a student died 3 yrs ago and a rumor was in the air about Ghosts and spirits in the room. In the parallel Prof. Anirudh is immensely impressed with Abhimanyu and working on a thesis on Bipolar Disorder. As movie gradually picks the pace, a series of events unturns and enters a slightly dark mode. Last 15-20 minutes are nail biting as the mystery unfolds.
As a psyche senior Imad Shah and his friends did a decent job. None of the actors is a biggie yet has done a full justice to their characters. Background score is commendable and is fullon successful in creating the aroma of mystery, fear and suspense. Few scenes of ragging like one in the room with red light in the room is surprisingly esthetically shot. Also Ranjan deserves full points in creating the environment of a college, sketching each character with solidity.
Hats off to him for such a brave experiment. Kudos :)
