Sequels are usually not as good as the original, or not good at all. That is not the case with "The Parent Trap." "The Parent Trap" is so much better than the original! It's not even close! Eleven year old Hallie from California and Annie from London meet at camp, and discover that they are twin sisters! They devise a plan to get their divorced parents back together. They switch places. Their dad has a girlfriend, Meredith, who is like the evil stepmother type, to the point where the twins call her Cruella Deville. The twins, played by Lyndsay Lohan, are excellent, and so is the rest of the cast. I don't want to spoil the movie by saying what happens. But it is one of my favorite movies! I love this movie!
Wow, this movie aired for the first time yesterday, and there are not any reviews yet. I'm surprised.
"Double Scoop" is a cute movie. It is set in Wisconsin, where I'm from. But it wasn't filmed it Wisconsin. It was filmed in Alabama, which is weird. I wonder why they don't film the movies where the story is set?
The leads did a great job. They were both very sweet and professional. Can't say the same for the dairy farmers and the bed and breakfast owner. Those 3 were just annoying, I'm sorry to say, and "Double Scoop" would have been a much better movie with better supporting actors. Everyone else in the movie was great. And it was great seeing how ice cream is made. I didn't know how ice cream is made. Because of the bad supporting actors, I give this movie 5 stars.
