The series started off with promise, but it took a disappointing turn by featuring Joy, who is widely recognized as a representative of authoritarian politics in Bangladesh. His inclusion felt out of place and politically charged, which disrupted the narrative for me.
I stopped watching after his appearance - not only due to his role but also because his portrayal and screen presence felt forced and unrelatable. It's surprising and disheartening to see a filmmaker like Ashfaque Nipun, known for his nuanced storytelling, endorse such a figure.
Frankly, I expected more thoughtfulness and integrity in casting and narrative choices.
