Actually quite funny, good casting and surprisingly good costumes and makeup. Actors looked the part and it had better designs than the Zack Snyder Batman films. Batman actor had a great Batman voice as well. Loved the celebrity cameos. Great job State Farm, quite impressive. Better designs than some movies honestly.
I went into this game with a moderate liking for mad max as I had seen the 2015 film. I decided to buy the game as it was discounted and I was glad I did. This game is an underrated masterpiece. The graphics and landscape are phenomenal, there are so many cool areas and remnants of past civilization. The storyline is very good, as good as you could expect from mad max and surprisingly emotional. The combat seems like it's straight out of the Arkham series and the car combat is great. Many games with vehicle customization either have far too many options and aren't interesting or not enough, this game is in the middle of both. Customizing the car becomes your mission. I truly don't understand why this game isn't more loved, easily the best game I have ever played along with Arkham city and fallout 4. The producers of this game even found a way for an "empty" mad max world to have buildings and remnants of society with underground buildings, dried up oceans, enemy camps, shipwrecks, cool fortresses and gas town, a labyrinth of underground civilization along with the terrifying underdune, filled with creepy buzzards that leave you genuinely unnerved while exploring there. One of the greatest action game of all time, perfection. 10/10, also chumbucket is the best.
I consider myself a bad film connoisseur and I must say even for a B list movie, this one wasn't very good. It is somewhat humorous, the main part I enjoy about these movies, and yet does not make me laugh out loud like films such as the amazing bulk do. The protagonist complains more than anyone I've ever seen, and supposedly his armor is invincible, yet he still hesitates to fight men with guns, quite confusing. The main part of bad movies that I enjoy are that they are hilarious blatant knockoffs of other films, but this however, just wasn't funny. If you want to watch a funny knockoff superhero movie, watch the amazing bulk, which is laughably bad and truly hilarious.
