Every weekend we watch a kid friendly movie and this one we had no info about beforehand but randomly picked it. It turned out to be better than we anticipated and much better than the relatively low rating it has on IMDb.

It has Common giving a little rap about truth, james corden, Zendaya and Lebron.

It's funny, a coherent and unexpected story and just the right amount of magical numbers. My kids laughed out loud several times. It was a modern and respectful movie with strong themes about being truthful and bravery and finding your people.

Even James Corden was bearable in it. Sorry Smithy

Caught this on bbc player last year and was hooked pretty much from first episode.

Through it was a cracking good show, good set up, good characters, well written.

Why it is rated so low is beyond me!

I'm probably not the target audience for the show given that almost everyone in the show is below age 20 and I'm a middle aged woman.

I live in America so I caught it when it was first released - staying in an Airbnb but I raved about it to people when I got back to the US. Wish it would get picked up by HBO or PBS or Netflix. Perhaps it would be better if there were just two more episodes because six is a bit short.
