For me, cinema is a powerful lens through which to explore the human condition. I believe the best stories act as both mirrors that reflect our own inner worlds and windows into experiences beyond our own. Deeply passionate about certain type of shows and films. I like to explore psychological depth and the complex tapestries of consciousness.

  • I hate musicals, but...

As someone who usually cringes at musicals, I was in no rush to watch Wicked. But the glowing reviews finally nudged me to give it a shot on Max. To my surprise, it was good enough to keep my TV on-and more than that, it pulled me in. The story made me connect with the characters, loathe others, and even got my skin prickling during its most powerful moments.

If you're a musical skeptic like me, the dazzling visuals and gripping narrative might just make you forget you're watching a musical altogether. Plus, with the second part on the horizon, now's the perfect time to dive in. Highly recommend!

  • Quite entertaining

I hadn't even heard about The Eyes of Wakanda until it popped up on my Disney+ dashboard. To be honest, it didn't immediately grab my attention. Given the uneven quality of recent Disney/Marvel projects, I went in with low expectations-and I couldn't have been more wrong.

The animation is absolutely stunning, hooking me from the very first frame. I'm genuinely impressed by how the creators managed to craft a compelling story across just four episodes, especially when it initially seemed like it might lack structure. While I wouldn't call it the best thing I've ever seen, it's undeniably entertaining-enough to binge all four episodes in one afternoon.

I highly recommend giving The Eyes of Wakanda a watch. It's engaging, cleverly weaves in elements of Wakandan lore, and introduces some intriguing aspects of its history in a fresh and inventive way.

  • An opportunity to cultivate a love for science

Christopher Nolan's Interstellar remains a cinematic touchstone that transcends mere entertainment. I have returned to this film on at least six occasions, not for casual viewing, but as a deliberate act to rekindle my own passion and curiosity for the fields of astronomy, geophysics, and general physics.

Every frame and transition, elevated by a masterful score, engenders a profound sense of pleasure and an unparalleled desire to continue exploring and learning. In many ways, this film solidified my admiration for Nolan and his body of work. The manner in which he chose to illustrate a black hole was, at the time, simply breathtaking. My admiration for this depiction has only deepened in the years since its release, as scientific observation has revealed it to be remarkably prescient.

Undoubtedly, there is a before and an after in the cinematic representation of this cosmic phenomenon, and the film's rendering has since become a benchmark, influencing subsequent films, artistic works, and even literature. If, after all these years, there are still those who hesitate to experience this film, I urge you to reconsider. It is a powerful catalyst for nurturing an appreciation for science and a truly rewarding cinematic journey.
