Without exaggeration, this was one of the greatest episodes I've ever seen - not just in the Dexter saga, but in television history. This episode had me on the edge of my seat with every twist, leaving me breathless and wondering what could possibly happen next. It had me on the verge of tears four different times from just how good it was. And that ending... unforgettable No spoilers I just can't see any way Leon Prater makes it out alive next episode. Such a waste of a brilliant and unique character. Resurrection is my favorite season of of the entire dexter saga Absolute perfection.
First off, that shot of Dexter with the mask had me cracking up. Things are really starting to heat up, and next week looks like it's going to be brutal-I honestly can't wait. I really hope Leon Prater makes it into future seasons; he's one of my favorite characters in Resurrection. If he ever discovers that Dexter is the Bay Harbor Butcher, I hope he can come to terms with it-and that Dexter can, too.
Right now, I can proudly say this: Resurrection has climbed into my top 2 Dexter seasons. For me, it's Season 4 first, then Resurrection.
And honestly, as much as I love Doakes, Brian, Arthur, Rita, Masuka, and the rest of the Dexter cast, if the next two episodes are executed as well-or even better-than this one, Resurrection could end up being the best season of Dexter overall. It all depends on whether they stick the landing. I'm 99% sure they will, but there's always that tiny 1% of doubt lingering.

With only three episodes left, I can confidently say that Dexter: Resurrection is shaping up to be in my top three - and possibly my favorite season of the entire dexter saga. This season is pure cinema; every episode brings something unique and memorable. The latest episode was outstanding and easily my second favorite of the season so far, and it firmly earns a spot in my personal top 10 of the entire Dexter saga.
