The Lord of the Mysteries donghua is visually stunning, with a dark and mysterious steampunk and occult feel. The story is a bit heavy at first but keeps you intrigued. It's a pretty faithful adaptation of the original novel, perfect for those who like a Bloodborne-Sherlock Holmes vibe with a Chinese twist.
A must-watch if you love mysteries, secret societies, and magical worlds that are different from most anime!

ABO Desire is like an elegant guilty pleasure. The story is unique yet addictive-Omegaverse, MPREG, and corporate drama rolled into one. The chemistry is strong, the characters are mysterious yet deeply emotional. The visuals are beautiful, full of sharp gazes and a chilling atmosphere. The most important thing is that the actors' acting is appropriate and not awkward, especially the chemistry between the players, so it's comfortable to watch.
Just very disappointed, they don't respect the readers of novels or manhwa and their authors singnsong. This adaptation might be enjoyable as a standalone if you've never read ORV. It's visually cinematic and stars big-name actors like Lee Min Ho, Jisoo, Ahn Hyo-Seop, and others.
However, for novel/webtoon readers expecting a complete story, this film feels like a repurposing of the ORV name without understanding the original's spirit. Many fans have called it not an adaptation, but rather a different film in ORV's costume.
