After watching the previous episode which was good, but then this one was far the best out of all the episodes in this season.
Kept me at the edge of my seat.
And Kirk comes into the picture how he came to be. Eeally good one! Won't give out any spoilers for this you just have to watch it.
Good directing! Good script!
Keep it up!

I'm a longtime fan of the Star Trek series always have been. But... this latest episode? Whew. Kinda left me speechless and not in a good way.
It honestly felt more lost ..what is the story line here? Felt like theater performance than a Star Trek episode. Like, the heart of what made the show special just wasn't there.
Now don't get me wrong I really admire the cast. The actors and actresses are doing a fine job. No complaints there. But the storylines in this new series? They just don't hit the same. Something's missing....
For me, it's never been about big CGI or flashy effects. What always made Star Trek shine was the storytelling. The moral questions, the deep conversations, the sense of wonder and exploration not just of space.
I still hold a lotta of love for shows like Enterprise, Next Generation. They had that adventurous, they had that depth...
Maybe the shorter 10 episode seasons are part of the problem? Feels like the writers are having to cram too much into too little time, and that spark of creativity just gets squeezed out.
I really hope the next episodes get back on track. Still got hope in my heart... but right now, this just is not the Trek I fell in love with.
