LEE BIVENS: Director/Producer of Indie feature film, EVOLUTION CREEK (completion est. 12-20-11). Lee is a world renown fine art painter from Atlanta GA. His original collector list reads like a who's who in the USA and Europe. Including: Dale Earnhardt, Mohammed Ali, Evander Holyfield, the Atlanta Braves, Lockheed Martin F-22, US Air Force, BMW, Daytona International Speedway, RJ Reynolds and literally hundreds of private collectors. www.artlee.com

At the tender young age of ten, Lee was producing movies in his basement with the neighborhood kids and his younger brother Greg. Lee's father was gracious enough to allow Lee to use the families cherished 8mm film camera to shoot these hopeful films.

During Lee's 25 years international art career he had a great desire to use his immense creativity in film production. Lee realized that the fast track to learning the film business is to be an actor. He was an extra in "Christmas Vacation" with Chevy Chase (Breckenridge, CO.). Also, as lead actor in Love's Triangle and Dirty Martini. Lee worked as Producer and Director for Down Bottom films during this time.

In 2002, Lee began the long an laborious process of building a fully functional indie film studio. Including a music recording studio and multiple special effects green screen stages. About that time, a preeminent Hollywood producer started collecting Lee's artwork. They were able to share quality time together. In fact the producer went to Hollywood with a theme from Lee for recent ultra successful mega film. Lee walked with something more valuable, one quote from this brilliant big five Executive, "Lee, I believe producing film and artwork, are exactly same thing." Today, that statement is engraved on a 14 carat gold plaque in Lee’s office. It was revelation in that Lee felt that film is part of his essence, just like the art work.

Now, Lee Bivens is on a clear and distinct mission. He is going to Produce movies exactly like he produces art. Please note: Lee Bivens fine art paintings are arguably the VERY best in the world.

Lee and his small but potent Atlanta based independent film team are on a mission and that is to write and produce the finest ‘no budget’ films in the world. Currently, Lee Bivens and his brother Greg are in post production on “Evolution Creek”. It is a film about college kids on an exotic island vacation that find themselves caught up in a war between the powers of Evolution and Creation... Please visit www.evolutioncreek.com

  • Amazing film for no budget

This film is really good considering it was created by two brothers with no staff and was shot outdoors on an island with absolutely no budget! I saw it at the world premiere which was standing room only (they said there were over 530 people there) and it was very fun! I was impressed by the quality of the cinematography and the realism of the VFX. Impressive considering it was made by two guys in a micro studio. The plot is very original but is a classic good verses evil. The actors look great and did a good job. The villains are intense and complement the beast that appears to mix things up. I thought the message in the film was kinda neat since it has a subtle spiritual message. I did not see to many mistakes in the film and I would watch it again.
