This episode of felt overproduced. I feel like this should've been a regular episode where one person wins and one person gets sent home and then we move onto the next episode and the episode after that and the episode after that and episode after that then the finale. I do think Ginger is very talented but the more they try to rake things in her favor the less deserving she looks for winning. The red Queen results felt off. I really wished we saw where all the contestants placed their competitors, and that lack of transparency, felt like the production was trying so hard to rig things. There were some good lip syncs, but they insert weird confessionals that really take me out of it and felt very unnecessary and awkward professionals and weird moments they over edit and muscle of those confessionals is just random crap just for the sake of a professional in lip sync, which is annoying. Congratulations to Ginger for winning and I'm sorry that production did everything in their power to invalidate your win. Production really needs to stop with these twists and handholding their favorites because that has been an issue with most of the All-Star seasons also, why is the main season of drag race more high budget than an All-Star season? Especially for the season finale, which feels like the lowest budget finale episode of RuPaul's drag race. This is all stars 10 so forgive me for expecting a bit more of this one compared to previous all stars seeing it it's like the 10th anniversary so to speak.
This episode Madeline was eliminated at the beginning, which I agree with her unconventional look was terrible and her inspiration look was probably one of the worst looks from project runway history although I will say I did like the waistband and the sleeves just not everything else so for this episode, the designers have to make streetwear looks and I will say I think everyone, but the bottom two did great and I do agree with Belania winning but Law decided to critique her story of her look first off. I thought everything about her story made sense with the look and the fact that law saying it was not Audrey Hepburn inspired is complete crap and it feels like he trying to get on her nerves so they can paint her as a person who doesn't take criticism well and who gets angry at criticism which first of all I did not see her get yell or start an argument, and I could see the anger on her face, but I could see her like really trying to keep it in to to not the producers get that narrative of her being the contestant that doesn't take criticism well. I don't know if it's the editing but every time she's angry at the criticism I feel it's justified and she behaves in a calm manner or at least as calm as you could be when you're angry I mean Law wasn't even constructive with the criticism of the story. The story was perfectly fine and he just says he hates it.(the story) and also it feels like the show is like giving weird double standards where the judges and Christian could be disrespectful and mean to the contestants, but when the contestants showed the slightest ounce of anger, they're straight up gaslit into believing that they are behaving worse in the situation or are invalidated, I am sick of this hypocrisy and I'm tired of how all the non-guest judges have acted even Heidi who seems to just turn a blind eye to it and not address when the other judges get too harsh.also the season they have a much quicker work time limit, and sometimes they start challenges immediately which of course is going to affect a mental health, and I saw that with Madeline when she pretty much felt defeated and ready to give up and honestly during the beginning of the last episode, I almost thought she was going to quit due to how stressful this competition is compared to over seasons Antonio being high I don't agree with I think Jesus had a stronger look although I will say I did like the shade he provided with calling that doll handbag, Nina, which she pretty much had that coming for saying that she doesn't know why he stayed here this long and I can see that all these contestants have been forced into a storyline of where they want their character to go. This is probably on its way to being the worst season of the whole project, runway franchise just based on how mean spirited and manipulative this season was.
I like the camp season four but with that said I do feel like this episode is bad. First off I wanna start with the whole pudding, Anastasia and Marissa and a tie while I understand it sounds like a good ratings booster. It's just a stupid decision because they should've just vote out Anastasia if they think she's that strong of a contestant also I prefer Marissa over Anastasia. Anastasia's and Zaid's feels fake at best surface level when she was told her lie by Logan ( who let her be captured by a robot clown) who is having this conversation with Isabel( Anastasia's rival) she believed it over someone who she said is a good friend she doesn't even tell him why he was eliminated which is the least she could've done since she did break Ivy's arm which never gets addressed in the show. Also, I do not like the direction they are taking with Hannah. She feels like a completely different character, but not the way that it feels natural. She went from this person who wants to be everyone's friend to this depressing pessimistic character who is tired of seeing her friends get sent home... (you can meet your friends after the show. It's a reality show not the apocalypse stop acting like they're gonna die if they get eliminated.) also I don't really care for Amalie she's just not likable and she's paired with Hannah who is currently not likable so in turn I'm not gonna find either of them likable end their dynamic. I can understand the heat against Logan. He's unlikable he's annoying and as a hypocrite, but to be fair pretty much everyone left is either stupid or as a hypocrite. I'm rooting for Jade to win because she's the only one that doesn't get on my nerves my second choices Isabel I have not third choice because everyone else's obnoxious and I hope they do a four person elimination next round and the four people are the irritating ones.
