This is a good movie, folks!! First, let's talk casting which was - excellent - Erin Cahill & Wes Brown - are talented actors, and together they 💯 had chemistry. I really enjoyed how the movie leaned into their mutual hatred of each other🤣, like hard, before having them fall for each other. The feel of this movie too is just so pleasant and VERY autumnal - in fact one the most authentically feeling movies I've seen from Hallmark in a while. The movie (narrowly) avoided the big bad developer trope, for which I was grateful. Overall it was a really solid, enjoyable, fun, well-acted, Hallmark movie.
This movie delivers! I like sci-fi. I like action. I like romance. And I like movies that tell a good story. This movie does all of those things! I plan to go back and watch it again next weekend because I want to feel this movie again.
And the lead, Kristoffer Polaha, is tremendous. He's really magnetic to watch, I really couldn't take my eyes off of him. And I love his voice. And he's basically in every scene, and he carries this film so so well. I want more of him on the big screen - next movie Mr Polaha I'll be there!
So go see the movie, it's solid, enjoyable, and you won't regret it!!!

Field Day is a charming Hallmark movie! The leads are lovely together, two of my favorites. Benjamin Ayers working at the school; Rachel Boston being roped into the PTA. You know they'll end up together, but it's fun seeing them get there! Some of my favorite scenes with Benjamin Ayers were 1) him spinning the basketball on his finger 2) him getting dunked in the dunk tank. And Rachel Boston's baby makes a cameo in the movie (awe). And the supporting actors! These ladies really steal the show. The girl friendships here are great fun to watch - and they seem to get as much screen time as the leads!
