  • Just one question: Why?

The original was the best football movie ever. It also was the one movie that made it all right for guys to get weepy (just TRY not to sniffle during the "I love Brian Piccolo" speech) and it featured actual game footage of Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo. The new version adds nothing.

  • Best exploding crack whore movie ever made!

This movie is a cautionary tale about the dangers of pushing the boundaries of science too far. Hands down, it's the best movie ever made that features exploding crack whores. It also reminds us of the importance of lawn mower safety, and offers some exciting new possibilities for owners of power tools. Throw in its sensitive handling of foreign relations ("What are ya! Some kind of Swede?") and "Frankenhooker" is a classic. It's an amazing cinematic experience that is weird enough to be both deeply disturbing and hilarious at the same time. The people who made this movie are sick, God love 'em.

  • Best football movie ever

It's a football movie, a buddy movie, a comedy and a tragedy, with actual game footage of the inimitable Gale Sayers. It's the one movie (Pride of the Yankees might be one other) that it's all right for guys to get weepy over. Just a great, great film. DO NOT be fooled and accidentally rent the wimpy remake. James Caan and Billy Dee Williams are perfect as the two teammates who become friends and then even more. You WILL tear up and get a lump in your throat during the "I love Brian Piccolo" speech. If you don't there is something seriously wrong with you.
