  • quite possibly the worse movie I've ever seen

OK, so it was quite funny, but I found that most of the times that I laughed it was simply about how awful the film was. The original airplane had few merits- and this doesn't really have ANY. The jokes are all what I call environmentally friendly- reduced, reused, and recycled, from the original airplane movie and elsewhere. It wouldn't be so bad if there were ANY new jokes in there, but there wasn't. Half the film is actually made up from clips from the original, to the point where it actually had me questioning how much has to be original footage for it to be classed as a new film in its own right! The plot line was also almost exactly the same too. All in all, it was a terrible movie, and a very obvious money making scheme rather than anything else. I hope the actors never live this one down!

  • Good, so long as you don't expect a serious film

I really enjoyed this film, but mostly because I went in with the expectation that I would have an hour and a half of laughs and general fun, not a serious film. I have seen the first film, and this isn't as good as it, but probably because film makers always use up all there best ideas in the first films, very few sequels live up to or surpass the originals. Obviously it's not the sort of film you can watch again and again, the jokes are clichéd and will quickly become old to anyone over the age of about 8. It never ceases to amaze me why adults go and see a children's film and somehow expect a serious film. All in all, good fun, the quality of the film isn't bad. Children will enjoy this, and their parents won't be bored by it either!

  • terrible film, but in a wonderful way

I actually really enjoyed this film. It had nothing really going for it, it was unrealistic, If half of what happened had happened in real life there would be actual criminal proceedings. The characters (namely the children) changed part way through, going from completely untalented, to very talented. Some of the acting was terrible, despite the number of famous names in it, although some of the children were pretty talented. There were also some major plot holes. However, despite this, the film was genuinely enjoyable, and leaves the audience with a real warm feeling inside. It was funny, and I was really glad that I went to see it. I wouldn't recommend it for any other time than the few weeks leading up to Christmas though.
