  • Between dream and reality

Garibaldi down from his pedestal in the center of its square in Genoa sees all and sighs, wondering if he was right to fight for a united and better Italy, because what he sees today does not like at all! Nevertheless, in the midst of corruption, in the midst of employers who do not pay workers, lawyers (Zingaretti) who cheat honest people pretending to be professionals with a strong moral character, in the midst of people who are willing to money, almost forced, to circumvent girls, in the middle of the junk videos on you-tube and immorality rampant in our countries, a boy and a singular adult (Battiston) go in search of a stork that has been lost, a family man (Mastandrea) in the midst of all his lodges single father, helped in this by the ghost of his dead wife (Gerini) falls in love with an artist distracted (Rohrwacher), cheated and underpaid, forced to live to overturn his art. Good movie to see, in the usual style of Soldini, full of quotations from great writers and artists, along with "anonymous Persian", among them: "Calm is a cowardly soul" of Tolstoy And the final quote, which closes the film, the aforementioned alleged anonymous Persian: "the best thing we can do now is to keep silent." RATING: 8

  • surprising but not credible

Overall a good movie, to see anyway, even if in the end you say: it's impossible! You can not explain many things that happen in the film with the final twist on the schizophrenia of the character! And then that stupid final, the way that the main character has to get rid of his alter- ego, that mysterious Tyler Durden, shooting himself in the mouth and to stay alive in spite of everything! And all those skyscrapers collapsing, worse than September 11! But it should be? He ruined the whole movie. A film of social protest and against consumerism, but it does not give up hollywoodianism! A contradiction in terms.

  • A movie about incommunicability!

An incredible film, as beautiful as bitter. Los Angeles today, the lives of people of different ethnicity, language and social position intersect in a cold city where you do not communicate any more between, especially because the differences and mistrust are the masters. The lack of communication causes a series of reactions ridiculous and absurd coming to brushing against the absolute tragedy. A moving and thought-provoking film, where the idea that we do about the characters is meant to be completely changed by the evolution of the facts. The lesson is not to trust the first impression especially when it comes to people different from ourselves but to try to communicate and get to know the person. Simply superb!
