THE WINTER, Argentina, 2016, by Emiliano Torres. I didn't know it existed until I saw it on TV. I loved it. Currently there are few films that deal with the life of field workers, their work, their loneliness, their unstable, seasonal work. It has a side of social denunciation, although that is not the core of the plot, which is what was previously said, along with the places, the cold, the desolation in the midst of beauty. Impeccable work by all, highlighting those of the recently deceased Alejandro Sieveking and Christian Salguero, who look like a foreman and a laborer who had spent their entire lives on the farm. For me, outstanding among the last I saw of Argentine cinema. It is filmed in different places in Santa Cruz province. El Chalten, Rio Gallegos, etc.
