This is the best series in decades. The acting, writing, story line, directing, etc... are all top tier. The fluidity and pace are film like, drawing you in and keeping you there. It's combined with a genuineness of life's essence. The trials, tribulations and heartaches, mixed with a quirky reverence of joy and even humility. The script is so rich and boldly real. I can't sing the praises enough for the high quality production this series presents.
This episode takes off where season one ended. The writing is exception, along with the acting. The story line is so solid and smooth, too much that each episode ends before you want it to. The characters continue to be smart, funny, eccentric and relatable. Unlike a previous reviewer named "wardkaiser" I love Ali's character, it brings levity. "wardkaiser" obviously doesn't understand that a script needs to be diverse to be complete and interesting in more than one area. I'm sure he finds network tv satisfying, when there's nothing but garbage on it. Landman is the pinnacle of what a series should be. Kudos to everyone involved!
