I was intrigued by the 4 minute extended trailer, and so I eagerly tuned in for the premiere. Unfortunately, it was very underwhelming. I didn't learn anything new from the 43 minute premiere that I hadn't already learnt from the 4 minute trailer. I actually found the premiere to be boring and unnecessarily drawn out.
Also, none of the characters really seemed all that interesting, except for maybe Mike and the lady from ER, but those aren't the main characters, so that's not a good sign.
I don't mind non-linear story telling, but, there didn't seem like all that much of a reason for the tactic here - it felt contrived. Also, this may seem like a minor point to some, but the way the "flashback" subtitles changed sizes really distracted me a lot. What's wrong with normal subtitles?
Anyways, I think I will give it one more episode to suck me in, but if the second episode is as underwhelming as the first, then I won't be tuning in.

This show is hit and miss so far for me. The characters and premise have a lot of potential, but some episodes are just boring, and full of somewhat "manufactured" drama. Other episodes are better. The later episodes have been getting better, enough so that I'm sticking with it for now, but, I may give up if we get more dud episodes.
This show has some "soapy" elements. Certain aspects remind me a little bit of Desperate Housewives. But the show also has some more exciting supernatural action to it - it the writers are just trying to figure out the right balance, I guess.
Dylan is the best! And Claire and the chief. The chief's wife is a bit annoying, I feel, and most of the other characters are a bit "meh" so far. So, in short I'm still watching this because I watch too much TV, and I'm enjoying it enough, but I'm not that excited about this show. And if I was ever really busy with something, it would be one of the first casualties of my TV viewing schedule.

I love the characters on this show - they are what makes it rise above the clichéd and tired episodic cop show, well, that and the "catch me if you can" inspired premise of an ex-conman helping the feds, which is handled in a fresh way here. My absolute favorite character is Mozzie - he is so endearing and funny.
While the plots are sometimes a tad predictable, the stories always feel fresh because of the brilliant acting and well-written banter between the two major leads. Also there is an ongoing mystery that carries over the course of the seasons, which adds a deeper layer to the show.
This is one of the shows I look forward to every week, I wish it had more episodes each season.
