  • Left me wanting more.

I would have liked more one on one interviews with Hernandez during the court process. Making a Murderer and Staircase do a better job at that. Still, this was a very fascinating story.

  • What a Comeback!

I loved the authenticity of this hour long Netflix special. What he's gone through and the efforts he has taken to right his ship are truly heroic. This is a changed man and we all should learn from it.

  • A real love story.

A real love story, but not just told between people, but between music and the musician. The film does a wonderful job of revealing the sacrifices that professional musicians make to maintain a high level performance. Each actor gives arguably their best effort in their respectable film careers. What a beautiful love story.

    10/10.

  • Tim Burtons Absolute Best

One of my all time favorite movies. The score and ensemble of actors and actresses are both absolutely incredible. Do not underestimate Johnny Depp's ability to carry a musically driven film. He's a superior talent supported by an all star British cast in this Tim Burton classic!

  • My favorite film!

This is such a phenomenal film. The soundtrack. The acting. The script. The authenticity.

I think that Liev Schreiber and Rachel Mcadams both gave their best performances of their careers in Spotlight. Mark Ruffallo should have won an Oscar for his performance. "It's time! It's time!". That moment released so much angst and gave me chills. Michael Keaton was also fantastic, of course.

Howard Shore gave so much life to the movie through music and it rivals the work that he did on The Lord of the Rings.

10/10 5 Stars Two thumbs up Must watch Best film Oscar winner!

    I rest my case.

  • Star Studded Classic

When you put Matt Damon, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchette and the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman together, you get a superb film. It's set in beautiful Italy, which feels like it's a character of its own.

Deception, love, greed and jealously. 10/10

  • Thank you Judd. Thank you Garry.

My guess is that Garry Shandling would be very appreciative of how well of a job that Judd Apatow did on this wonderful documentary that chronicalized his life and spirituality. I had not had much exposure to Garry's comedy before watching this. After watching it, I have come away with the fact that he very well may have been the best performer of his time due to the way he held his material to such high standards and also because of the countless amount of people who he mentored.

There is more to learn in this documentary than just how effortlessly funny Garry really was (although he worked tirelessly on his material). It shows the journey to enlightenment. How to accept ones place in the universe. How to resist being egotistical in an effort to not take life more seriously than it needs to be taken.

Thank you Judd. Thank you Garry.
