493 episodes of a great Australian medical drama. Constantly evolving with the comings and goings of characters. This is the strength of this show. The ability to change and evolve into something else but still maintaining integrity. It isn't what it started out being and I believe only one character was there from beginning to the last day. Von was the glue. Congratulations on a fantastic series.
This is a show about the US military seal teams and their missions and their brotherhood. When I first started watching this series, I felt it was just an exciting action series. But after watching it for several seasons in particular season six episode 10. We see that this is not the case. It's really a series pointing the finger at the US military and telling them to treat their soldiers better and not see them as disposable. It's a little bit of a blackeye for the brass.
Aside from this, it is an exciting series with heart, stopping action and tearjerking emotions. I have to keep talking here because I have to reach the minimum length.

A great satire of the American people. Not believable, but from a Canadian standpoint, real and funny. The cast is awesome and did a fantastic job in this satirical view of America in a crisis situation.
This story takes place in autumn 1947 according to Wikipedia. A song is played early in the film that wasn't released until 1959. I know most young people wouldn't notice but being of an age that lived in the 50's I noticed right off. I'm sorry but attention to detail these days is sadly lacking.
The rest of the movie was okay but nothing remarkable.

Badland is long and a little predictable.
It's sort of a harlequin western you could say. Reminiscent of Eastwood spaghetti westerns with a little less action. I have to say the leading man is fit and can ride a horse.
Not a horrible movie. Visually stunning but surprisingly shocking for a movie that was thought to be a family film. I know it's PG 13 but I feel it is too violent for kids. Disappointed really.
In past Star Trek series, each episode was a complete short story with a type of moral ending, particularly in the original series with Kirk. This series is more like a long movie told over many episodes. Each episode continues from the previous episode to tell the full story.
So far I've only watched 4 episodes so perhaps the moral of the story will present itself at the end. One can only hope.
I also find that the time-line is a little messed up. I'm not sure, but I've read that it's to have been 10 years prior to the Enterprise with Kirk, however, the number of aliens in this series and technology would lead one to think it was much further in the future.
I also am bothered by the fact that aliens talk in alien tongues so we have to read subtitles. I hate subtitles. They're very distracting from the story line

I don't know if I liked this movie or not. It was three hours and even after the end I'm still not sure.
What I do know, and maybe this may be the deciding factor, was that the accents were driving me crazy. Many of the actors spoke often with Irish accents. They're not Irish are they? I thought they were from Greece or Macedonia. And to be honest I thought Angelina sounded a little like Natasha from "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show"! These simple yet annoying traits were enough to leave me too distracted to enjoy the movie.
I didn't notice any reviews from the pros regarding this awful distraction other than Rebecca Murray.
Otherwise I could have enjoyed the movie in spite of the confusion regarding sexual preferences throughout the film.

I can't say I've seen as poorly a written film in a long time. The plot and scenes were laughable. There were too many flubs like the fight scene with the holster that is empty, then full, then empty again. The sound of the guns sounded like cap pistols not full size guns of the time.
The acting was better than a made for TV movie but the writing took away from that entirely.
The scenery was nice and some of the costumes were interesting to examine if you can pause and rewind.
I much prefer, if I'm to watch a low budget Western, a Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western.
Don't watch it unless you feel the need to write a review on it here.
