So this film is a softcore movie known as a "wraparound story", a film with a small cast used as a framing device made to compile footage from other softcore movies.
The main cast are a pair of writers and a couple actors from a soap opera. The writers deal with the obstacle of two leading actors playing lovers but disliking one another in real life.
While the main cast have a handful of love scenes, the overwhelming majority of the love scenes are from various episodes of "Kama Sutra", a late night cable television series. The scenes are treated as a mix of people the main cast know or are characters from the show they worked on or created.
All in all, it's pretty good for a wraparound movie.

This review promises to keep story beats to a minimum. A thirty two minute short, the protagonist finds himself face to face with several opponents. Carolino debuts as the writer, director, producer, co-choreographer, and leading actor in this short as his character, Spartan, takes on his many opponents.
Our hero faces his enemies with rattan sticks, an axe, firearms and even a rapier (fencing sword for those unaware). The spectacle in this film makes one forget this is a low budget independent film, especially when the practical effects are done so well and the visual effects are kept to a minimum.

I have to say that this is one of my all time favorite short films. We have a clear protagonist in the Ceratopsian and a defined antagonist in the Tyrannosaur, and there's not a line of dialogue spoken by either character. The cerat This is a realistic depiction of dinosaurs in their natural habitat acting like animals. Not anthropomorphic beings with fart jokes or savage bloodthirsty beasts. Even if you make the argument the Tyrannosaur is bloodthirsty, said animal is just acting like a predator.
Paleontology enthusaist in me has a few comments:
My review keeps saying "Tyrannosaur" but not Tyrannosaurus because although it is set 65 million years ago, the prey did not coexist with Tyrannosaurus at that time. The Ceratopsian is no doubt a Monocolonius (often considered synonymous with Centrosaurus) and takes inspiration from Charles R Knight's artwork of Agathaumas. Whichever name you give the Ceratopsian, it did not live alongside Tyrannosaurus. It DID coexist with Gorgosaurus and Daspletosaurus, however.
