The Young Poisoner's Handbook (1995)
A true Gem, high on my list
I was told this film had something special, so trusting my old friend, so tried to find it.
Wasn't easy, but cheap when I finally found it and what a movie.
The ambiance is amazing, the story brilliant and acting likewise.
Loved it, it's just one of those films you find one or two in a year, having to see around 100+ total waste of time 10 that you have some pleasant experience out of and then there are the Gems. Hard to find. My first one was Blade runner, 14 years old and Alien a bit older and from those days I hate "waste of timers" despise all crap with us moviegoers having to be strapped into a chair forcing our eyes open and fill us with "the message" instead of making a good film.

Have all gone mad?
It's pretentious, theatrical in the worst sense and the actors are like cartoons, so exaggerated that it becomes unbearable to watch.
You string together lines from Cyrano, set in the making of it, and you are a "genius"?
I LOVE the Theatre, imbecile people say as if there's value in adults "acting" in plays.
I haven't yet seen any good play, getting free ticket's for year's.
Waste of time and of course you just can't see one film nowadays without "the message".
Threw up on my mouth when that scene that I dreaded finally arrived.
Am I a psychic, do I have a crystal ball where I see the future?
Unbelievable that people rate it so high, have all gone mad?
Den bästa sommaren (2000)
Stacking scenes on top of each other
This film is a classic example of bad directing and editing.
I actually think that the film could work if it wasn't for the bad editing, directing, writing and acting.
I totally concur with the person who wrote one of the other reviews.
My life as a dog (mitt liv som hund) is although similar, it's a classic Swedish film.
There are few good Swedish films, Fanny and Alexander is another one, but this sadly is a miss.
Dune: Part One (2021)
Swines!
So you want people to wait a year or forever like Spielberg Tintin?
Punish them by not going to see it, this nonsense have to stop, either make the movie 5 hours and have an interlude, but not years!
Elderly people see Wagner operas, so why isn't possible for a a younger movie audience.
BTW, some of the acting is really bad, but the filming is great.
However, it doesn't take away from the cynical way of getting more cash from movie going people instead of editing well, tell the story and get rid of the stuffing.
Min pappa Marianne (2020)
Swedish film at it's worse
Swedish attempt to jump on the woke train and falls flat on it's face on all parameters.
It's not engaging, the acting is at It's best flatter than a pancake, the writing shallow like a Harlequin novel and it's so predictable so from the first minutes of the scenes until the last.
You are invited to spend your valuable time on a film that doesn't have anything to say,the doors they so bravely kick in, was removed by the builders a year ago and the house demolished.
It's an imaginary Don Quixote giants aren't even windmills, the problem they try to investigate, doesn't exist in Sweden and hasn't for the last 10 years at least.
En man som heter Ove (2015)
Such a pale copy of Gran Torino
Swedish attempt to copy Clint Eastwood Gran Torino and falls flaton it's face on all parameters.
Cancel Nation: How Kind-hearted Women and False Feminists Are Cancelling the Most Liberal Nation on Earth (2021)
Scariest film I've seen!
Not disclosing anymore than is written from the filmmakers, the film is a gripping reality and as scary as any documentary I've ever seen.
The message from the film is clear as a day, but somehow it seems to elude most Swedes and most Europeans though, since they have been brainwashed into some kind of sectarianism where their own life and that of their loved ones is secondary to the cause.
Psychology will have decades of studying this phenomenon, if there's even faculties in the Universities 50 year's from now.
Sweden Dying to Be Multicultural (2017)
The "review" above is an attempt to ruin free speech
As a Swede, born and raised in the region portraid in this documentary, it's a very accurate account of what's happening in Sweden.
The interviews are done with academics and workers and instead of taking my word or the hater above, see it and make your mind up yourself.
1 star is just pathetic.
