The shots are like works of art, really beautiful and expressive.
My problem was that the main character is portrayed like you obeserve him, and its a bit hard to identify with him, even tho you understand why he does what he does. also the acting wasn't good enough for me to really get in touch with the characters, and the arty shots sometimes make you feel like you watch a movie, so you can't really identify with them. good foreign debut overall.
Another feminist foreign film. I'm bored. maybe filmmakers should to making their characters have more depth than Oppressor/Opressed Dynamic.
I've seen too many feminist films that portray society as black and white and its not like that. the males are portrayed awfully and you just hate them. they're not deep.
there is no good and evil in reality, and the filmmaker should know that.
P.S well made tho, good looking shots.

The movies is well made, the scenes are very dramatic and realistic and it feels like getting punched in the chest.
Despite that, I was not a big fan of it since i found the narrative of the movies being very black and white, and not fully nuanced and open-minded.
The male charcter in the movie is clearly potrayed as the reason everything is ruined. And i interpentrate this movie being very self-righteous femenism and arrogant towards bedouin traditions. If you want to make a social-critical movie, you should potray the full scope of Things, and not say, this is right, this is wrong.
This movie would have been better if it was more open minded and not so black and white.
