I'm 10 minutes in right now and the movie already started to tank with a bad plot that many won't like. Another "Girls are better than Boys" plot. Human interactions between characters seem to lack common decency. The male characters seem to be idiots. 20 minutes in now and i already regret it. I was hoping for some easy laughs but nope. I won't finish the movie. Stay away from it.

Just seens the first two episodes so my first impression might still change as my ration of 7 might still change. Visually aweseome like the movies. Sound is great. The actors are fine. At first the story starts good but on the road there are a couple of things that are just lazy writing. Like they need this and that happen in the episode so they find ways to include it. Like checking off your todo list. But if you ignore those few things its a pretty good start so far. I will definitely watch the whole season. If you like the alien movies you will like this as well.

I have to admit i didn't finish the first game. Actually i thought the game was pretty boring and didn't bother to play the sequels. After seeing the movie i though it was decent enough to entertain. Not as bad as everyone says. So i decided to give the 3rd game a chance to see the original material. Oh boy... that changed my point of view of the movie a bit. The game is full of foulmouthed characters cursing at every other sentence like sailors. A lot of very dark humor. They tried to capture this in a PG-13 kinda way which is just sad. If the game was PG-13 i doubt it would have so many fans. So why making the movie PG-13? Makes no sense at all. Apart from that the movie is okay to watch. You will be entertained but don't expect too much of it. And while i like the cast... i wonder why didn't they choose anyone younger for the lead role? Cate Blanchet is awesome of course the in the game is a character in her early 30s. It still kinda works but it you excepted to make sequels then you need to choose younger actors. I guess if they ever do another borderlands movie they should do a complete makeover with a new cast and make it R-Rated. Or maybe the is an r-rated version somewhere hidden in a vault? I don't know. Nice movie but a missed opportunity to make a great one.
