1st, the trailer is way better and you'd be better off watching big the trailer a dozen times than watching this insanely boring and ridulous movie! I had so much hope for it considering the lead actress is supposed to be able A lister! A slow burn is an understatement! Theres so much weong with this movie including too many plot holes, too many poor choices made by the 2 visitors, poor efforts to make Metz into a plus size sex object, all scenes are done in poor lighting, everything and that God awful "creature" costume! The entire movie is crap and not worthy of any rating over a zero! Do yourself a favor and skip this altogether!

This movie is an absolute scam to get people to watch it! Why? Because 100% of the people who watched this mo ie have already seen the first 2 and only watched this under the premise that this movie was supposed to answer the questions "where did the monsters come from" & "why did they come to earth?", neither of which is answered in the movie, which in my opinion is fraud and a clear bait and switch! Why call this day 1 if no background on the aliens or their purpose for coming to earth weren't gonna be mentioned?
I'm glad I didn't spend big money going to the theater to see this crap because I would've been even more pissed than I was with losing the $4 I paid to watch it on Prime! I bet this was the easiest payday for all the actors as they didn't have any lines to remember for 75% of the movie! It was soooo boring and a huge disappointment!

Let me just say, you can't stand to see a movie have a great message but the messengers are horrible actors! Meagan Goode was mediocre and Corey Hardrick's acting was just awful! Nothing about his performance in this film indicates he has been acting since the 90s! I could barely watch the film from being distracted by Meagan's horrible plastic surgery! Her cheekbones look a mess! I only finished the movie because of Richard Lawson & Debbie Morgan who performed great at the lead's parents and the best friend! Now THAT is a woman who keeps it real and had me entertained during her screen time!
The movies theme and message around domestic violence, turbulent in law relations and learning to know your worth are great messages for anyone but especially women who choose to ignore red flags for the sake of "being married", having a piece of a man than no man at all, trying to fix a spouse and even loving that person, none of which are valid reasons to stay in a relationship where you are disrespected and not valued!
I don't particular care for Tyler Perry movies as the plays and comedies do not shed the best light on the portrayal of Black people but the dramas like this one, Good Deeds and I can So Bad Myself (despite some bad acting) are ok and I like them better because they have good messages. Tyler Perry please just stop thinking you are making movies that ALL Black people want to see because not all of us like the stuff you make! Stop with the stereotypes already!
As a survivor of domestic violence and more than one toxic relationship, I saw myself in the lead character's role to stay loyal and want to fix a broken lover who eventually left her but unlike her, when my relationship turned sour and resulted a very bad, explosive and painful end, I saw the BLESSING in it because I had been asking for an out for years and God gave me one, no matter how painful and embarrassing it was and although I ignored the red flags in my toxic relationship, I saw God's sign clear as day..."here is the out you prayed for. Take it".
It's free on Prime so definitely worth a watch but not to pay money for though.
