The past few seasons have been marred by the crappy LOUD music playing over everyone. This past episode we couldn't hear Ben or Erin as the music started playing over them and it's incredibly loud. Do they have teenage interns taking over the music dept?! FFS please lower the volume on that crap! We watch to see Ben and Erin; not revel in some musician trying to make a name for themself.
Specifically the past four seasons have had this problem and we tried looking into the culprit but no one wants to take "credit" for this awfulness. I can't imagine why! We are avid fans of Home Town but it's just too much anymore.

Small town charm and great characters! Loved the ending!
Based on real life Allysa Robbins, a lesbian NYC folk singer. The lead actor here has every bit as good a voice as well and the acoustic take on Robbins original songs is easier to listen to. Christine Lahti is good as the unapproving Mom and the story just seems like "a week in the life". The ending isn't as good as we expected but it tells the story. Overall, a nice little movie for a rainy afternoon
