What a total bummer. My kids and I found this reboot to watch today and absolutely loved season one, so I purchased season 2. The first group of kids were great and we were very much looking forward to seeing how their stories played out only to find out that the entirety of season 2 has a completely different cast and a different vibe to the whole show.
This was an interesting episode. Clearly it was well done enough that i've found multiple reddit's discussing it but I couldn't quite find what I was looking for.
This episode has an air of familiarity but no amount of googling brought up any info on if it was spoofing a particular movie. It felt like a 90's teen revenge movie to me. Reese being the victim and Lois exacting revenge on his assaulters, taking them out one by one. That being said, the punishment didn't feel like it fit the crime. When you spend 7 seasons having a character do awful, terrible things to people for the fun of it, it's hard to feel anything other than it's Karma that's being served.

There are so many good shows that never seem to get a fighting chance.
This one was such a pleasant surprise. My kids and I watched together for the past two weeks and we really enjoyed it. What a shame they canceled it. We would have loved to see what was next for Jason and company!
There should be a change in how they decide if a show is worth continuing or not. So many people no longer have cable.
