I have been a DaVinci fan for years since the first episode in fact. But this new season opener just blew me away it has to be the best yet.
I have never, to my knowledge seen a show so full of biting socially relevant issues in a drama format before. This is not season 8 of DaVinci's Inquest, this is the beginning of a whole new form of Television Drama.
I liked the way that there was no long drawn out explanation of how Dominic DaVinci got to be The Mayor of Vancouver, And that he was thrown to the LIONS on his first day in office without even having unpacked his stuff. I have lived in and around Vancouver for 25 years and have seen some of the Social and economic hardship that exists there.
My hat is off to all Cast and Crew and Production team you have outdone yourself once again.

Without a doubt Michael Palin is a true explorer out of his time. He would have been at home with the greats such as David Livingston, Cecil Rhodes, Albert Arrbuthnott and Fred Bloggs to name a few, tramping up them thar hills makes me feel breathless just watching T'Lad and he's nowt but a sprog of a lad at 62, Keep it up Lad your get better each trip. When the Telly is this good who needs the rubbish.
Michael Palin and his various trips are something to look forward too. You don't have to wonder if it's going to be good, just how much better than the last one.
His easy going, pleasant style reminds me a lot of Sir David Attenbourough's own way. Maybe the two of them should meet up some where and do a trip together.

Well once again we have to suffer the TOTAL RUBBISH that the network and advertising executives think is "GOOD TV". Slow paced, disjointed, bad acting. These stories have been deliberately prolonged to fill the 40 minutes of alloted time between all the advert segments. Television is supposed to educate and entertain us not put us to sleep or bore us to death.
I watched 3 of the first series, and then gave up in disgust.
Silly me I thought things would be better in the second series, but NO they are worse actually "ABOMINABLE" would be closer to the mark.
Hey Gilligan's Island had more drama and social commentary in it than this turkey, Plus it was more enjoyable.
