If you don't look too closely, don't think too hard, and let this movie entertain you for what it is, you should enjoy it thoroughly. The only two things I found wrong with this movie are 1) I thought Bill Pullman was supposed to play the president in every disaster movie and 2) it's not southern, it's not midwest, it's definitely not any of the leftover options, in fact he doesn't even use it consistently throughout the entire movie, and I guess it's American of some type, but what the hell is Bruce Willis's accent?
Anyway, the fact is, this is a great movie. The pacing is great, it's well balanced, they don't force character development on us yet we still managed to care for the characters, the plot, of course, requires you to suspend your belief in rather large chunks, while the dialogue is a little corny, It's not over the top.
All In all, again, For What it's trying to be it certainly I mean so exceeds expectations. Grab your popcorn put down your remote and have fun.

... Norman McDonald replying to Conan O'Brien who challenged him to 'do something with that' after naming Courtney Thorne Smith's new movie title, after Norm spent 5 minutes making fun of Carrot Top and her new movie while she was a guest after Norm. IN FACT, Norm's 5-minute diatribe had more jokes and more laughs than this movie. You can go on to YouTube and watch the clip of the interview it's hilarious, and a lot funnier than this movie. Whoever decided to give Carrot Top a feature length movie probably isn't working in Hollywood anymore. Norm Macdonald should have gotten a movie instead. And that's my review.
