I like both these guys, so the problem wasn't with them.

None of it was funny.

The whole story was just weird. The characters were all awkward and not believable.... The story wasn't engaging... Throughout there was always a feeling of 'this is off' that is hard to explain.

Just BLECH!

Awful movie.

The original movie was really something truly special and unique! A great, fantastical story of true archetypical myth & legend! Funny, clever, perfect for adults and children alike!

It had a GREAT cast...but most importantly the actual BANDITS WERE LITTLE PPL!

^It made the magic all the more real! (Helped with the immersion!)

To hire actors that aren't little people COMPLETELY RUINS THE WHOLE unique magic and POINT of "Time Bandits"!!!

These aren't magical beings, they're just fools!

The actors do their best (Kevin fits) and if "Time bandits" the movie never existed, it would be OK... BUT THE MOVIE DID EXIST, SO THIS IS TERRIBLE!

1st off, this should be COMPULSARY viewing for end-Highschool years to teach them about critical thinking and the dangers of cults and narcissists.

Anyway, it's JAW-DROPPING! It's so shocking in how extremely messed up this leader was and how none of them spot it... I feel so bad for these sweet innocent people...I'm not into these kind of things but i COULDN'T STOP WATCHING!

3rd STAND-OUT thing NEVER happens in docos, esp when they are over a 20 year period: The footage is from a QUALIFIED Film Maker ON THE INSIDE!! So it's amazingly shot! Evokes all the right images, feelings etc!!!

Watch it! You won't be disappointed!
