Watched this on Sky movies last night, the first 20 mins seemed promising, something different from the normal thriller movies, but as it progressed, it just got more weird, and annoying, this film could have been so much better with a better plot ie...if there had been more mystery to it, the characters just seemed to give up, no real fight to get out of their situation, there was a scene where Imogen's character discovered an object, i thought maybe she was going to do something interesting following this, but sadly no, it ended up being pretty boring, and didn't make a lot of sense, sorry but there is a lot of crap like this coming from Hollywood lately, very disappointing.

I don't understand the negative comments on here, i thought it did justice to the genre, some are talking about lack of story line, it's a thriller! and this film does just that THRILL, it's full of action, with some real tense moments, and Halle Berry did a fine job of playing the desperate mother, if you want to be entertained, give it a try you'll enjoy it!

Like many fans of the horror genre i have been disappointed on quite a few occasions by films that sound good but don't deliver when it comes to watching them (there is so much crap out there) i bought this DVD from a pound store then decided to read some of the reviews here first just in case i was wasting my time, some of the reviews sounded optimistic so i gave it a chance, and from the start i knew this was going to be better than most of the rubbish out there, the camera work was excellent with some beautiful scenery captured throughout, the story was interesting and the vampires just scary enough (although i would have preffered a couple more scenes with the characters fending off vampires) with good makeup effects, and the acting was pretty good for a low budget flick, all in all it was a decent horror film, hope to see more good horror stuff from this Director, he did a great job!
