It's more exciting to watch the series where you don't know what or how will happen next. I think if it would have followed the book page by page it would have been predictable and a bit boring. The actors are great and really put a lot of effort and thought into portraying the characters. I recommend listening to the podcast where the author herself talks about the show and how she feels about the actors and the plot. She rightfully so emphasises that this is a book adaptaption so it shouldn't matter that the looks of people or the time line don't match the books.

Great show, hope to see more in the upcoming seasons.

A truly great and successful attempt to give the VA fans something we all desire - an opportunity to see an amazing story on screen. Actors are talented and really into their roles. New actors that were introduced to the show added more spice to the show and was a great shout. I wish that all the great books like VA, Divergent trilogy, The Mortal Instruments, etc. could be made into great movies or tv shows by people who are truly fans and not by people who are measuring success only in money. A huge thank you to the team and I hope we'll see this show grow and prosper!
