Move Like a Boss (2024)
2.4 is generous
I saw this on the list and also saw the 2.4 rating
I didn't think a score that low would be legit but I found it was generous.
I gave a one and that is because you can't vote lower.
It is claiming to be a comedy.
Yeah comically bad.
The acting was that of some highschool play level.
The camera work was shaky and they have never heard off filters because most outdoor shots where overexposed.
Also willing to bet that most of the budget was spend on the 1 plane and several outlandish costumes that had no place in this movie.
I hope they never make another movie like this because one was already one too many.....
Bel-Air (2022)
Cursing and N words galore
I have just watched the first half of the first episode and I have heard more curing and N words then in the original series in TOTAL.
The original was fun based and they didn't try to be the hood but came over with feeling and suprising you every now and then.
This version is filled with air heads, Hoodlums, and stereo-types galore.
This version doesn't even have a fun intro song that explains WHY Will has to move.
Jeffery is a cool butler but now he is a jive talking dude that sort of works like a butler.
The acting feels forced and the story is a mess.
My advise watch the original version and give one a pass.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)
Waiting for the Mad Max part.
Mad Max is a fast paced fuel driven saga with road battles galore with epic battles and grand explosions.
Sadly, this movie has none of that.
The story is drawn out so it would last 90 minutes, but could have been done in a 25 minute episode.
The few explosions in this movie used 1970's special effects at best.
I love the previous Mad Max movies, but this one fails on all fronts to be classified as a Mad Max movie.
Sure it is fairly nice to watch, but Mad Max it is not.
But really, if you go and watch this movie, don't expect a grand Mad Max battle movie because you will be dissapointed.
Battle Over Britain (2023)
Good lord how is this getting more then 5 stars.
I have seen parts of this movie and it is just as bad as the Masters of the Skies series.
Guys sitting in there Spifires in perfectly starched suits flying straight lines while in combat.
Really is this the new norm of Hollywood movie making.
Flying straight line in active combat airspace is a deathwish to be fullfilled.
Every enemy gun will have zero trouble of shooting you down.
And the ammount of CGI is again everywhere.
And then I'm not even talking about the highschool level acting of the actors.
My advice would be to find, Battle over Brittian from 1969 and get a much better feeling how it was over the skies of Southern England during WWII and how close England got to be defeated by the Luftwaffe.
I have already deleted this movie from my collection because I will not insult the brave airmen that gave their lives during this horrible conflict by owning a copy of this abomination.
Masters of the Air (2024)
Masters of CGI
Band of Brothers was mostly shot on location.
Saving Private Ryan was mostly shot on location.
Pacific was shot on the ocean (mostly)
Masters of the Air was shot in a field and in the studios blue screen.
Every single shot from the planes is 100 percent CGI.
Clouds, Planes, everything CGI.
If you a big budget why not fly A plane and get footage and ad the planes in that.
And then there are the caracters.
Buck and Bucky but who are all the others?
Are these guys even based on real people?
Are the missions even based on actual historicle missions?
So many questions and even fewer awnsers.
Coming 2 America (2021)
The tried, They failed, The end.
This sequels is as good as so many other sequels out there.
HORRIBLE.
I rate this MINUS 10 stars.
WandaVision (2021)
Fell asleep watching
Sorry but this is boring as hell.
It has to honor shows like I love Lucy and Bewitched with a bit of Pleasentville.
Sadly it is more of an insult instead of a honor thing.
Also funny to see that most 8+ star ratings came even before the release date.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
7.3 out of 10 ???? Who gets payed to upvote this junk?
This show holds a 7.3 out of 10 rating but if you look at the actual ratings all I see it 3 stars and lower.
I have seen this show and I would LOVE to give it a NEGATIVE 1000 rating.
If you take everything that is good about the Star Trek universe and spin it around the full 100% you get Discovery.
Horrible acting, SWEARING (not done if ANY other Star Trek episode/movie) and Klingons that look like... like... I don't know but defenitly not like Klingons.
.
So I ask you this.
WHO is using his PC to bot this series with 10 star reviews because no true trekkie would ever give it more then 2 stars.
.
Currently I am rewatching Deep Space Nine and it is more entertaining than this whatever it is. (Voyager will be next)
I have ALL Star Trek series and movies but this series will NEVER be added to that beautiful list.
Stargirl (2020)
Seen both episodes and I will not watch the rest.
Where to begin.
SHAZAM.
O wait this is "Star girl"
More like dumb schoolgirl holding a powerful staff and not knowing what to do except for stupid stuff.
Hold on wasn't that the plot line from Shazam.
O right that was with a irresponsible boy and now it is a girl.
Still don't really see the plot line difference really.
The CGI was fair for a series that only has 2 episodes out yet but nothing special.
But next time they like to make a power rangers series.
?? Power rangers, O yeah high school kids in costumes fighting crime.
Anyway next time find a real superhero to make something watchable and don't put a child in that role.
Midway (2019)
I didn't believe all the negative reviews. Boy was I wrong.
From the start this whole movie is set up to make the Americans look like saints and the Japanese like the boogie man.
Reality and history FACTS tell a very different story.
But it gets even worse.
In the beginning there is a scene with a plane landing on a carrier that is so beyond logic that only a person that is braindead would believe it.
And when the Japanese do their attack on Pearl Harbor it is a bloody miracle they didn't kill each-other with the way they are shooting their on-board cannons.
And then all that zoomed-in close-up shots of all the actors.
Why not zoom out a bit and show the scenery a bit more.
My advise is to view this movie as an example of how a movie can be bad for all te wrong reasons.
Now if you like to see a few good WWII pacific movies go and watch the original Midway from 1976.
And for another really good WWII pacific movie go and watch Tora Tora Tora (1970) as the much better version of Pearl Harbor. (2001)
Frozen II (2019)
Is this a childerens movie or a cash grabber?
For a children's movie this is one complicated story to follow.
After around 50 minutes nothing noteworthy has happened yet.
But everything gets fixed in just 5 minutes.
And the songs are forced to all hell and there are way too many of them in 1 movie.
Better call it a musical.
Do yourself a favor and just watch the first movie and forget they ever made a second.
Disney please stop making cash grabbers or the magic of Disney will die out.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Lazy writing at its best.
Every moment where something was needed the force made up a new rule.
Every moment somebody was needed they just happen to be on that planet and nearby.
And don't get me started about all the weird errors in this movie.
Ships can only crash when they have no landing gear but can do a VTOL landing when they do.
George Lucas please stop with Star Wars because it is getting worse with every instalment.
The movie does have it's better moments but they are sadly overshadowed by the many cringy moments.
The Filthy Thirteen (2019)
I like to rate this minus 10 stars
Fake weapons.
Horrible CGI.
Actors that don't care what they are doing.
Stupidity in screenwriting of epic proportions.
In short this is a great comedy because all you do laugh.
It really is that bad.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
What a farce.
Pure fan service episode and zero actual story. (or logic)
Grey Worm can teleport around the combat lines.
Now he is at the front and now he is at the back and he doesn't even walk anywhere. (he does this a few times)
The dead always go for the closest living but halfway thru the battle they no longer do so.
If they did we would have fewer main characters left for the last 3 episodes.
Air Collision (2012)
Why is this movie ever made?
The actors try hard to make it almost watchable but even they can't save this from being a total disaster.
This movie has more mistakes than Ready Player One has eastereggs.
And some mistakes are so massive it makes this more of a comedy of bad taste then is does a thriller.
Even in 2012 an EMP would never criple anything from the Military.
So keep that in mind if you ever decide to watch this.
It helps finding 100 extra mistakes.
Mary Poppins Returns (2018)
Lame rework of a perfect original
Everything about this version feels forced while it should be fun.
The songs are so lame you forget them 3 seconds after they are done.
The script feels more like the rejected version for the original movie.
The CGI (rather lack there of) is worthy of a guy doing it inside 1 hour on his laptop from 1995.
Even if I have NOT seen the original I would stil dislike this movie.
So no matter how many spoons of sugar you take with this version it will not get any better.
Da hong zha (2018)
Bad on ALL levels.
The special effects are as bad as from a 1980's slasher movie.
Bruce Willis gives his absolute WORST performance in this movie.
All other acting is third-rate at best.
