I am a guy, and as such I might be stereotyped as not liking romance movies. While this is true in the context of "chick" romance movies it is not, in any way shape or form, true for genuine romance movies. I have read in other reviews that it did not elucidate emotion for some, that the plot is too straight forward with no gimmicks. I find the plot in this movie to be very original and unique once more I find the acting to be of the highest calibre. The hallmark of the greatest authors and too the greatest movies the greatest songs and paintings is to be able to capture 1000 words through the subtleties through the nuances of every moment of watching/hearing/seeing. I found the plot, the actors, and most of all the nuances of this movie to be very entertaining.

As such I would categorize this as a true comedy/romance movie that does not rely on cheap tricks, but rather on heartfelt genuine acting that highlights the subtleties of interaction. To me it is akin to Seinfield versus Friends. Sienfield was deep genuine comedy intricate, while friends (which I thought was funny too) relied more heavily on cheap jokes.
