My 14 year old son and I sat down to watch this movie tonight. I was a little weary from reading all the negative comments and reviews.
We were pleasantly surprised.
The graphics and CGI were really seamless.
The story line was touching.
The animated characters were playful and fun.
Millie Bobbie was at her usual best.
And of course who doesn't love Chris Pratt? His character was quite quirky.
This movie was a great escape from current reality which is all an entertainment blockbuster is supposed to be.
And all from the comfort of our living room via Netflix.
Would recommend to families.

Lots of amazing action sequences.
Solid performances by Gosling and Evans.
Great stunt work and CGI pretty realistic.
All in all pretty good entertaining popcorn movie.
Probably Netflix's best action movie.

After loving taikas take on thor: ragnorok I wanted to love this too. I just think he pushed it a bit too far. It became less super hero and more like a parody of the marvel franchise. They pushed the fat Thor story line in the avengers a bit and then way too ridiculous in this.
