@Phylum22 If I could give you 1000 thumbs up, I would have and here's why. SUBTITLES are unbelievably annoying to me, although I have watched a few in my time. For me to even consider watching a subtitled move, I need to have a burning desire to watch it, or there are only a few dozen lines of test.

As for subtitled TV series, I've saved over 100 complete series and only ONE (Grimm 2011 S03-05) has subs and even, then less than 50 lines of test in a few episodes, most are much less.

That's my rant about subtitles and as for "The Last Panthers", I can't rate it cause I didn't and won't ever watch it, so let the "thumbs down" fly on this NON-related review.

I have to admit, I almost did not continue watching this. It really was the great portrayal and story line of the animals that kept me watching.

Considering it is 2024, I was expecting somewhat better quality animation, not the moving paint by numbers style. The only really good animations were the water surfaces. It's a shame that same quality did not extend to the landscapes, structures, and most especially the animals themselves.

No I was not expecting PIXAR quality, like with water surfaces, but the rest could have been much better. That is the only reason I rated this as a 7 and not a 9.

Sit far back and enjoy this great heart tugging story.

I really wanted to watch this despite it having subtitles for all the non-English parts, but I tried anyway. I even tried DL'ing 3 different foreign parts only subs.

What a waste of time discovering that a shyt load of non-English dialogue have no subs at all. And to make things even worse, the alignment inconsistently drifts around ranging from 3 seconds to over a minute off. This makes it impossible to watch this movie. Don't know who or what group created the foreign parts only subtitles, but what an unbelievably crappy job he, she, or they did. If I had paid money at a theater to watch this with such screwed up subs, I would have walked out and demanded my money back.
