  • Very Nice!

I'm a great fan of Frank D'Angelo and I just seen his latest movie No Deposit at the ICFF film festival in Toronto. I gotta tell you it is one of his best works to date. What I love about his films is the realness, that he delivers through the story and characters that he builds. It's a beautiful piece of dramatic cinema with a super cast of talented actors. Daniel Baldwin and Michael Madsen, these guys can play the meanest scariest guys ever and they pull off their roles incredibly well. They take no prisoners. And Paul Sorvino, he brings his a game to every movie he's in. This is a film that makes you want to see it twice its so good, well worth the money.

  • Best Picture at AOF!!

Just saw Real Gangsters at the Action on Film International Film Festival in Pasadena, California, Loved it! Unexpectedly great film. What I really liked was that it was a raw look into the world of the mob. It has a reality feel to it which is fresh for film making these days. Great performance by Margot Kidder, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress. Also it was great to see Robert Loggia receive a Life Time Achievement award. The movie was so good that they added a second screening and I watched it twice which allowed me to pick up on things I missed the first time. If you get a chance see this film, watch it, you'll love it!
