The elements of a great Netflix series are all here: excellent acting, beautiful photography, gripping storyline, smart dialogue. These are what make a great binge-able show and Messiah definitely has these elements . Additionally, the music composition is magnetic and keeps you at the edge of your seat all while the viewer continues to wonder "is the Messiah the real deal or is this a major con-job"? In a nut shell, the series is follows a wary CIA agent investigating a charismatic man Who sparks a spiritual movement and stirs political unrest. From the Middle East to middle America, the direction of this excellent mystery-thriller series is top notch , always keeping the viewer yearning for more . Yes, religions of the world are a big part of the plot but this drives everything forward in Messiah, and not in a preachy way. There are "haters" of this series , or ones that are wary of watching something that can be misjudged as heretical but, of course, this is a fictional story not based on true events . If you are wanting to watch a good mystery - thriller that is totally binge worthy, then this is the show!

This movie wasn't too funny. It wasn't too horrible either. Just a fun ride aboard the Soul Plane. It's a black-owned flight service with a kick-ass disco, beautiful bar, and pumping stewards. The plot takes you through the whole idea of a black (not race or color, but 'style') -owned plane with the same style of black humor. At times, there are some great rare scenes like when the main character uses the 'normal' lavatory in the 'normal' plane. Check that out. There are lulls, however, and I find it most in the character who played the Soul Pilot. Watch to find out who it is. All in all, it's a fun movie. Tom Arnold adds to the fun with his 'cracker' attitude. This is one movie to watch when playing poker, when you're drunk, or just vegging.
