If you enjoy the genre give this one a try. Yes it has its flaws. Some wonky plot holes. Few if any programs are perfect in this regard. I binged the series in one sitting and quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to a season 2. All fans of this format will know where this one falls in the hierarchy. Not quite top tier, but well above those aimed at the brain dead viewer. With some tighter writing season 2 could evolve into a "Vera" or "DCI Banks" but unlikely a new "Endeavour".
Creepy, funny, dark humored. Full of "in" jokes for the seasoned horror fan. Great performances from the two leads: Tom Bateman (Jekyll & Hyde, Da Vinci's Demons) as a hit man working Halloween night, and Rebecca Rittenhouse as his not so unwitting accomplice (expect great things in her future) their scenes together are pure magic. Also, keen observers will spot John Landis in a brief cameo.
Densely intricate, multi layered spy thriller. The pilot looks great, if they can keep this up it should be compelling tv.
