If you like beach movies like Point Break or North Shore, it's a no brainer. Throw in the fact that his uncle is Bernie (yes THAT one) and it's even better. I remember watching it as a kid thinking it was wild that people actually get paid to play volleyball for a living. Today people get paid just for playing video games while others tune in to watch. Classic scenes from L. A. beaches from the late 1980s fill up the screen from beginning to end. Casting is absolutely flawless and the movie never feels like it's dragging you to the finish line. Perfect flick for a weekday in the middle of summer.
