A very watchable program with interesting storylines. Good portrayals of family dynamics. I've been trying to decide who is the most dislikable out of the characters, because they're all pretty awful. I'm not sure if complex is the right way to describe them civil reviews have stated, from my perspective, they just entitled, spoiled, selfish people.
Overall, it is well cast although Nicola Walker tends to have the same personality in everything I've seen her in - downcast, mopey, lip trembly, can't get her words out, I thought it was really good acting the first time I saw her in something but now I just think it's her.

The majority of the incidents here are instigated by the police. They handle things that so badly such as when they had to execute that mentally disturbed man, in this case I agree they had no choice. Where the cops fell short was because they had been to his house earlier that evening and they saw the crazed state he was in and they just left him only to have to return and ended up killing him. Sadly, he wasn't the only one who died, a police officer died on the scene as well, and it was from the mistakes that the police made.
Also why do they have to shoot someone 20 times to take them down? Why can't they shoot them in the arm or the shoulder so they can't use the gun? Even more shameful is when they execute someone holding a knife or a stick. WTF? Why do they have to execute everyone they feel threatened by?
