I put off watching Andor and planned on skipping it altogether. Every single live-action show based on the IP has been a tragic disappointment in my opinion. Each of which received positive reviews from the mainstream as well as some independent critics. So why should I trust those very same entities that aggressively rave about Andor?!
Luckily for me I was bored due to disability and gave it a shot. I didn't care much for the first episode but by the middle of the second a switch was flipped. You can see where the money went on this beauty. Those sets and locations are stunning and finally present a vivid, yet lived in futuristic world far, far away and a long time ago. The actors are all excellent. The script and flow of the story are first rate. Andor is worth more to the IP George Lucas gave life too than ANYTHING Disney has produced combined. It may sound melodramatic, but that is my normie opinion, do with it what you will. Disney has finally put something on the table to compete with HBO's finest.

I'm not a regular fan of anime. I've seen "Full Metal Alchemy",, "Assassination Classroom", "Attack on Titan", and "Bleach"....twice. "Bleach" is probably my favorite story ever. "TYBW" is my "Godfather 1 and 2".
I only blabber on about that to premise how incredible I find "Solo Leveling". I'm not saying it's better or worse. IP's of this caliber are Mount Rushmore, so in my opinion "Solo" is that d*mn good. I guy I follow on YouTube said that it's great, so I trusted his opinion, and It not disappoint. One could only wish there were more seasons to breathlessly binge. I will be sad when I've finished both seasons.

I didn't know a movie could exist on pure snark. I personally don't feel it's appropriate to use the word negro in a post Jim Crow America, but I am also not the arbiture of racial dialect in our society. I hope the sequel will include leprechauns and any other magical racial stereotypes that exist globally. Of the many negroes in this documentary, David Alan Grier is my favorite. I like to think that his stereotypically hyper-sensationalized gay movie critic character from his 'In Living Color" days as his twin separated at birth. They seem to have a lot in common. I give "Magical Negroes" two snaps and and a sassy finger wag.
