What even is this?
The whole thing is an utter mess. The one single good thing I could say is that the costumes are great.
It's impossible to even hear what any of the actors are saying at most points but then the musical flashbacks are incredibly loud.
The writing is terrible; ridiculous, often incomprehensible dialogue, delivered in a manic, confused way by the actors.
I tried 3 times to get into it but just had to admit defeat as it was so uncomfortable to watch.
What a shame as the premise was good, and I usually love films like this. Definitely give it a miss and watch an old Agatha Christie instead.

One of the worst yet.
Many of the newer episodes have absolutely none of the charm of the original Midsomers but this is as bad as it gets.
No kitsch characters like the Rainbirds, no memorable or interesting characters at all, no picturesque village scenes, no subtle camp comedy, just distinctly average writing, and truly awful acting. Special mention in this category to Kate Robbins (??) and the lad who played the character of Zane - he alone made this episode almost unbearable to finish, he was truly truly terrible to the point I physically cringed every time he was on screen.
Forced myself to finish watching it but won't bother again.

I usually love Morgana and this had a couple of other biggish names in it but it was just dreadful.
Not funny and dull. Cheap & nasty, and rather depressing to watch, right down to the bad music between scenes.
It's hard to explain why it's so bad but it's just miserable.
Repeating the text here to fill out word count......... I usually love Morgana and this had a couple of other biggish names in it but it was just dreadful.
