This movie was horrible. Bad pacing, bad dialog... Just bad. I'm not even sure why this is relative today when she wasn't that big of a deal 4+ decades ago. Sure they had some catchy tunes, but nothing close to superstardom and certainly no longevity. I got through about 45 minutes or so before I could take no more. I just don't get it.

It starts off slow but picks up a little bit each episode. Halfway through, the pace picks up nicely and you're not sure where it's going to go. The cast is top notch and everyone does a fantastic job of selling you their character. This is one series that I would rewatch once enough time passes by. Highly recommend.

I felt somewhat sad and empty after watching this. I think that was the point, and it did it successfully. It's dark and bleak and there's not much to cheer for. It's a movie with very little hope and a lot of desperation and confusion. People that have reviewed this before me, have done so better than I could have, and I agree with 90% of those reviews.
