I was quite disappointed in this - having only watched the gin episode, I won't be delving into any other "epic adventures" and I don't feel like I watched an epic adventure either. I rarely review but it's so nice to be able to come away positively surprised by a film.

Wasn't sure at first but it developed really nicely and earlier parts of the film did build the character backgrounds nicely.

And what a great trio - worked so well together on many levels.

I was not expecting to find it so funny. There were some suitably silly bits too - but all to be expected and as the credits rolled, I had a smile on my face - can't ask for more than that.

I love this show.

I finished watching it years ago but just stumbled upon this page and had to write a review.

It's comedy in a touching, amusing way. It's sad, it's real, it's slow.

Don't watch this if you're expecting classic quick one-liners and belly laughs every 2nd minute.

Just sit down and watch it in a relaxed mood, take your time, It's comedy like only the British could do and make it great and a success. The characters are well written and the actors fit perfectly.

These could be people you and I know.

I used to have the exact yellow Triumph TR7 like in the show, so that was a nice touch for me.

But to be clear, I don't own a metal detector...
