I was surprised to see the Indonesian version of "Marvel" and it's marvelous!
I never expected to see superheroes other than the usual American and Soviet ones, or the once in a while Chinese heros, but this movie looks like the beginning of something very interesting.
There are some length but most are necessary for the understanding of the movie. It is not a dumb-as-it-comes-hollywood movie, there is multiple stories interacting with each other, plus the important flashbacks.
The action is quite interesting and fun. Once again, I find it better than Hollywood fake green screen action where most of the actors sit on a chair while the animators do the actual action. This movie has REAL action, with REAL actors.
It is a good movie and makes you want to see more, especially with the end. No more said, watch it!

I really enjoyed this movie. I was not expecting this at all. I thought it would be a "wanna-be" version but it actually is the BEST version I've seen. The animation is really great, it feels real.
The movie is based on reality instead of simply fun and games. Mowgli faces real challenges, real situation and risks death many times. The characterization of the animals is so great that they sound human (although we are not a good reference for this planet, we're destroying it completely). The action is plentiful and you will not get bored.
If you like to experience new ways of seeing a book, this version of the Jungle Book is THE one to watch! Kudos!
