I'm new to the series. Just started watching Supernatural. I'm nearing the end of season 2. I could not help but notice how much clever, better and deeper the stories are getting. The writing is getting deeper too. So I come across this episode Roadkill and I'll be honest - 15 minutes in I knew the twist that was coming, only because it's become a common twist. I recently saw a movie about a group of teenagers who emerge from a car crash and we learn at the very end they were all dead all along. But what makes this Supernatural episode special is the pure emotion with how the twist was applied. The way this terrific actress at the end is crying about her husband and her future, I couldn't help it. I just kept crying along with her. It was so sad. But then a happy cry at the very end. I applaud these Supernatural writers. They're getting better and better. The show is not just about these two bickering brothers moving from job to job across the country. It's not a same ol blueprint. With episodes like this, the show has matured. This episode will always stay with me. I'm still new to the series, but if I make it through all 527 episodes, I think think this episode will at least be in my top 15.
Very basic stalker horror film. Basic simple script.
Not much to guess at here. No twist or anything.
Some of the actors and actresses seem very new at this thing called acting. Ongoing music was cool. Lead actress looked a tad like Ariana Grande.
I'll give it a rating of 4 Oh well, I'll be nice 4.5.
