The Banana Splits Adventure Hour

  • Finallt saw the whole thing

Sometime around 1973-1975 (born in 1966) I saw some clips; unsure, cannot quite place in memory & events. I kinda think this was weekly afternoon, but originally on Sat morn.

By chance, I came across the whole movie on YT. I watched the whole thing, but only half paid attention, while looking at stuff on my 2nd & much larger screen (bored easily, ADD, haha).

The reruns ran until 1982. So, I'm guessing that those born from about 1958 to 1976 would've watched some Banana Splits & seen this. I only recommend to adults who saw it in their youth, or to current kids. It's silly, goofy & a little funny funny, besides being adventurous.

  • Saw bits on Banana Splits in mid-70s

This movie was shown in 10-minute increments on the Banana Splits (series) starting in 1968. I only saw a handful of clips & hardly remember after 50 years

By chance, I came across the whole movie (3 parts) on YT & downloaded. I watched the whole thing, but only half paid attention, while looking at stuff on my 2nd & much larger screen (bored easily, ADD, haha).

  • Above fair family, kinda funny adventure

I rarely type reviews, but felt the need to so here. I don't know why.

This was not moving or overly funny, etc. It was heartfelt, but had a good pace -- not too boring. Although, I can even last a boring movie because I have 2 big screens, so my attention is often to something other than than the movie.

The squirrel is not over-endowed with powers, such as any Dolittle flick, which I downloaded, but could not watch. It was too ridiculous to see non-human animals talk.

Fair good-time flick, especially with kids. I'm generally too old (at thrice+ that of a teenager) to have enjoyed this.
