Succession (2018)
F....k of.... :-)
Fantastic watched the 4th season in 2 evenings and I was just amazed how things all came to an end. Logan would have turned in his grave and in the end only losers. And losers win. Although I didn´t like Greg, but was hoping that the paper he took from the fire would come back, but that was not used anymore. Great characters to be hated and loved. On the other hand if in the real world it goes like this and all the money they burn every second with their lifestyle it is not every eco hahahahha. I think I stop drinking softdrinks with bamboos straws.
Stopped Suits after a few seasons, because this is just much better and an excellent plot, but unexpected.
Silo (2023)
One of the better ones this year.
Loved it from the start and got me really curious to know what is out there? Season 2 is coming out so hopefully it keeps up with the same level of suspense and mysterie as the first season. Then it is a keeper. Cast is really great with nice acting. Plot twist are nice and the visuals are awesome with this great silo underground and you keep wondering why and how are did they ever get there and who built this huge thing anyway and why. Yes, it is not safe outside they say, but why. Well let´s see if we find out in the next season and maybe more to follow. And evey episode had you longing for the next week one as soon as the episode ended.
Beef (2023)
A rollercoaster of joy and life lessons.
Loved it from the first second until the last seconde. Just a rollercoaster ride with everything in it and a precious diamond in between all of the series coming out these days of which 90% is not worth watching. But this precious one is. Characters are perfect, some scenes are just hilarious, while others make you think of your own life and the decisions we make and where we come from. Just amazing that a simple honk can spiral into so much in the end. If people would not overreact in real life that much the world would a better place as it is today. Enjoy the series and the wonderful ride, because it is a precious gem.
Top Dog (2020)
A joy to watch
Watched the complete season in 3 nights. Loved the actors, the scenes and the mingle of the upperground with the underground. Also the continous internal battle of Teddy of being a good guy or a bad guy. Maybe a season 2?
Bosch (2014)
Loving it
Love the series and can´t wait for season 7. The police work, the personal problems, the characters, the acting I just love it all. Maybe there are som flaws etc, but from all the police series I think this one is one of the best around. Bosch is just the perfect guy for this role. By the way I love the house he lives in!!!
13 Reasons Why (2017)
It was 8 stars but season 3 brought that down to 3...................
Loved season 1 and 2, but season 3 started with Ani and the flashbacks and the increidible story she tells in the last episode of 13 of season 3 made it really unbelievable and even annoying. Not even bother to watch season 4. It was like the Jaws movies, the first one was the best and then it all went down the drain in the next ones, same happens hear and only look at the ratings. Sorry, to tell you but the caracter of Ani destroyed the series and the role she was given as well, This smart ass lying caracter................what a pity of such a nice series.
Vis a vis (2015)
The blonde gets away to easy with everything
Liked it at the beginning, but then it was all to obvious and things were to easy for the main character being a new inmate and already trying to control and fix stuff. Liked it at the beginning but after 10 episodes and seeing some revieuws I gonna watch something else. Like the episode destroying the tv and arranging a new one, just really so badly written.
Gomorrah (2014)
Splendid
A real blast to watch, the music in the series is just perfect. The storyline has its turns for complete surprises and sometimes there is sadness and maybe whys. Loved all 4 season´s and they only got better. Don´t know if there will be a fifth season. For one reason it ended nice in season 4 as Genarro always stated (do not trust anybody). On the other end, what do I have to watch now..................
Ascension (2014)
Nice until
It started out nice with a 10 (just saw episode 3). But now it becomes a bit incredible (6). With this girl with super duper powers. A shame because it started really nice. But it becomes more one of those 13 in a dozen... Loved the first episode and the 2nd but the kid is too smart again. And in the 3rd episode it is getting really a pity. Something that started so good. The secret should have been kept more episodes for the viewer. Teleporting the guy to a planet??? No oxygen in 10 minutes in this huge ship? It has been a secret for 50 years and the guy walks out with the blond as there was only 1 security guard (who loses his gun as they always do...) in the garden? Don't see any good in continuing this series, we now the end after 3 episodes.
