I regret not watching the movie in theaters. I can only say good things about this movie. From the opening act, this movie captivated me. Its witty, smart and entertaining all while delivering a message. Every one in the cast were excellent and cannot be singled out. The story line keeps you hooked and entertained till the final act and movie ends in such a note that it will get you in your feels.

This is my first time watching a Kiran Rao directed movie and I will definitely be waiting for her next project.

PS : If you like panchayat the TV series, you will love this . You will root for the characters as if you know them.

My words might sound harsh but for how many years will we justify this type of nonsense movie making in the name of masala entertainment. We make fun and memes about Indian TV soaps but is this any better? I started watching the movie with open mind knowing very well that this genre of movie will be over the top flamboyant stuff happening. It started alright typical rom com , cringey but fine, then I guess the writers didn't write it, they improvised whatever plots on set. I clicked on the giant amazon front page banner ad because I have seen good movies of Deverakonda and now I am genuinely disappointed, especially after watching a beautiful movie like Laapata Ladies last night.

PS : Chota bheem is also a super reponsible charachter with high morale and protects his family and friends and his village and is still humble, that show has better story lines than this.

Very impressive visuals. Looks like a high budget movie. The plot is not very tight but the pacing is nice. As a scifi fan, this was enjoyable watch so I am ignoring most of the plot holes. The ending could have been better.

Nirmata - is from Sanskrit script from which many languages like Hindi and Nepalese are derived, so its not exclusively a Nepalese term.

People in "New Asia" are randomly speaking Hindi including the AI people which is weird cause they seemed to be located in Indonesia/Vietnam around that region. A little research from director would have been appreciated.

My real issue though is the score. It does not have a good background music, There are many cool visuals in the movie which would have been great with a good background music, which I think diminishes the overall experience.
